To All Fencers, Beginners and Enthusiast,

First I wish to thank you for your patience as we worked through a variety of issues with Lusher. I am pleased to announce that NOFC will be staying at Lusher for the 2009/2010 fencing season and hopefully for many years to come.

The New Orleans Fencers' Club will be offering beginners, Cadet / Intermediate, private and open fencing this fall semester in the Lusher gym on Nashville. Starting August 17th the club will meet at 6:45 pm on Monday and Thursday evenings. Currently this also includes beginners though there is a possibility the beginners class may have an earlier start time as the fall progresses.

Cost: Beginners: $120 which includes a fencing glove. 
Cadet/ Intermediate $160 Upon entering the cadet program each student will receive a body cord for electric fencing
Advance and Club Members $200

As always, Advance and Club Members will have priority strip time and first call for private lessons.             Private lessons will be offered in all three weapons using the pod system. 7 lessons for $70 in any one weapon. Fencers may take lessons in multiple weapons but not within a pod. Please sign up early for the fall semester lessons so our coaches can plan their schedules.
